24th AFMLTA International Languages Conference in Perth 7-9 July 2023. 
 

MLTA NSW will provide a $1000 grant to 3 members

to subsidise the conference costs.
Current financial members of MLTA NSW can apply for this grant by completing the application form below by Friday 17 March 2023. 
 

MLTA NSW committee will review all applications and select three grant recipients with priority given to: 

  1. Pre-service/Provisional teacher: Applicants are current university students or Provisional level in their first years of teaching (not at Proficient level of accreditation)

  2.  Experienced MLTA member (at least 3 years MLTA member)

  3.  First-time AFMLTA conference delegate

Conditions include that the awardee must:
* attend the two full days of the conference (8-9 July 2023)
* Submit a 500-word (minimum) written report about their experiences participating in the conference, an account of the sessions they attended and what key ideas they took away from the conference. This report will be published in the MLTANSW journal ‘Accents’.
* offer to present at an MLTA PL event in Term 3-4 2023. 
The recipients will be notified by 27 March 2023.
We look forward to reviewing applications for this professional learning initiative.
